In today’s new automobile painting technology that has less and less tolerance, deep scratches and over-sanding become a big concern, now, Introducing the Kas Apple Ceramic Sanding Sponge. The open cell structure is used to keep the water in the Foam during the sanding operation. The foam provides an even surface pressure to the abrasive exterior regardless of the form variations of the sanded material. This prevents the abrasive from cutting through the lacquer layer, for example at sharp edges and roundings.
This pad starts as 320 grit then diminishes to 400 and lastly 500.
